Sow Gung Chow @ Kim Court Restaurant 31 Jan

In conjunction with the Lunar New Year of the Rooster (2nd anniversary of my zodiac) coming by, we have already celebrating our chinese tradition - "Sow Gung Chow" (end of work dinner) to mark the ending of stress at work to celebrate the chinese new year. By right, by the name itself, this dinner should be held on the 29th and 30th of the chinese calendar before the new year, so that fellow colleagues can gather to "Lou Sung" (chinese dish that mixed with prosperity ingredients) so as to mark the end of the year and motivate ourselves for a better year ahead in business and welfare. But, in modern days, because everyone was so busy and some of them are returning to their hometowns on different days, this dinner was held 9 days earlier than usual. Even the planning was a month ago!

Alrite, the venue was relatively perfect. It's at Jalan 14/22, Section 14 Petaling Jaya, Selangor - Near Asia Jaya and Metrojaya - Not difficult to locate though. The dishes served was fantastic. Had tasty chesse mussels as one of the four seasons dish, followed by sharks fin soup, then the viet-style duck popiah, lemon fish.. exhilarating, exquisite! Everyone was controlling their sliver from dripping off when the dishes arrived on the table. =o))

After the dinner, we head to everyone's favourite coffee house (especially chuan maw) - The Coffee Bean - found out it closes at 11.45 PM. So we headed to another coffee house - Starbucks. Y, a guy, has been dating S for quite some time as he always be seen together and Y always been waiting for S everyday for lunch outside her office block. Their relationship is what a normal people may think doubtfully suspicious but they have proven to us that they are just meant for one another. We wished to acquire confirmation from them and we asked:

We: (Looking at Y) Do you love S?
Y: Yes, I love her.
We: (Looking at S) Do you love Y?
S: Yes, I like him.
We: Have you commenced operations?
S: (Silent. Looking at Y)
Y: (Silent. Looking at S)
We: Already commenced?
S: (Silent. Looking at Y)
Y: (Silent. Looking at S)
S: (Smiled)
Y: (Smiled)
S: Then is Katrina's mom coming?
We: (Knowing she was trying to change topic and we answered politely) Yes, we're going to fetch her home too.
We: (Trying to bring the topic back) Since when?
S: (Hesitated. Looking at Y. Smiled and answered) Couple of monthss....
We: (Trying to act specific) Couple of months means two months .. Alrite.. Several means 3..
We: Wah Not bad at all Y! You are simply the best!
We: When did you guys commenced? When we had BBQ that time somewhere in November?
S: Yeah, that's why he did not go for the S.H.E concert.
We: (Knowing that Y is a hardcore fan of S.H.E) wooooo... (wink wink)

After 12.20 midnite, after a nice dinner, wine and chats - we called it a day! (iin fact we were being chased off by Starbucks staff #*$%&X@)
